What is the best field of view in The Finals?

First-person shooter games offer a wide range of settings to adjust, and knowing which ones will make the most difference is crucial. After all, you can't score frags unless your game runs as smoothly as possible.

FOV, or field of view, is one of these settings; it determines the range of your field of vision while playing the game. While it may seem logical to maximize the field of view, doing so actually causes more harm than good. The maximum field of view creates a fisheye effect in the game, in my opinion, as it distorts the character models, making their bodies appear smaller and targets harder to hit. This also reduces your frame rate because your hardware now has more content to render.

So, a 90-degree field of vision is the most optimal. Not only does it offer the most natural first-person shooter experience, but it also alleviates a significant burden from your PC, providing the much-needed performance boost. As a matter of fact, the developers themselves recommend using 90 FOV for the best results.
