If you're trying to load up The First Descendant and having issues, you aren't alone. The servers don't seem to be able to handle the thousands of players playing the game. How to check if The First Descendant Servers are down

The First Descendant was released on July 2, 2024. As a new online game, there are bound to be a few teething issues. NEXON has already sent out one set of freebies to players' mailboxes for their launch day issues, but there are more issues on July 3 than there were on release day.

Here are the best ways to check The First Descendant's server status:

• The official The First Descendants website -The latest updates should be posted in the news section.
• Steam News Hub for The First Descendant - The News Hub allows creators to share any announcements with players, NEXON may post here to notify players of server issues.
• The First Descendant Discord server - Check the official Discord server for real-time updates from other players in the community and the game devs.
• The First Descendant Twitter - Check the official account for updates.

Unfortunately, it seems that the community are beating the devs to any updates about the server being down. I checked each of the official locations and there wasn't anything about the July 3 server issues.

But, on the Discord in the Community-Support channel, there are plenty of players updating each other about their log-in and server issues.
