How to use cheats in The Forest

Cheats can be fun to mess around with in any game, including The Forest. However, using cheats in The Forest is difficult at first due to how unclear activating and accessing the command console is. 

How to activate cheats in The Forest

Before players can access cheats in The Forest, they must first activate them. Here's how to activate cheats step by step in The Forest:

• Step one - launch The Forest on Steam.
• Step two - Acess options at the Main Menu.
• Step three - Select Gameplay options after clicking the Options tab.
• Step Four - Click Allow Cheats and click when it changes from off to on. 
• Step Five - After turning on the Allow Cheats option, manually type using the keyboard developer mode on (no spaces) while at the main menu.

After typing developer mode on with no spaces at the Main menu, press F1 to see if the console appears. If the console appears, cheats are now activated and work if typed in-game.
