How to Get Married in The Sims Mobile

I hear wedding bells!

While The Sims 4 offers a more robust marriage system that even includes custom wedding cakes, you can still get married in The Sims Mobile. Even with the smaller scale that you're working with, having a wedding and even divorcing is still possible. All it requires are some key steps to live your married life to the fullest or destroy it in a moment if you'd like.

How do you get married in The Sims Mobile?

If both of your Sims qualify to get married (adults and not currently married), then all they need to do to start with is become more well-acquainted. Make sure to level up both their friendship and romance levels until the marriage option becomes available. Also, know that marriage is not limited to gender. Follow these steps:

  • Reach Level 10 - required to purchase some items needed for a wedding.
  • Build your relationship with the person of interest - you cannot marry someone right away.
  • Make new friends - at times, it is required to have other friends to be able to get married and have a wedding.
  • Propose to your virtual significant other.
  • Plan the wedding and go on a wedding shopping spree.

How to Have a Wedding in The Sims Mobile

To have a wedding, you need to buy a few things:

  • Wedding Arch
  • Windowed Rose Lattice
  • Floral Pillar

If you purchase all of the necessary items, then it is finally time to get married! Set up all items in your lot's yard and go find your two engaged Sims. Have one of them select the other and choose the Here Comes the Wedding event. From there, the wedding will happen automatically. You can even take things a step further and get a baby.

How to get Divorced in The Sims Mobile

Begin talking with your spouse when they are in the same room as your controlled Sim. From there, select the Mean dialogue option. Go through these options until you see the choice to Divorce. This happens pretty quickly from there. Make absolutely certain that you want to get a divorce because it ruins your current stats and will be very hard to fix the relationship.
