Upcoming mod will make Stanley Parable playable in VR

Experience the mind-bending game in VR.

The Stanley Parable is a well-known puzzle title that just recently received an Ultra Deluxe Edition with new content. But that wasn't enough for modder Raicuparta who is creating a mod that will make Stanley Parable playable in VR.

Raicuparta posted a video demonstrating the progress of the Stanley Parable VR mod on YouTube. In the video, Raicuparta goes over what has been done in just a few days, showing the VR camera and controllers in-game and some of a level.

In the video, Raicuparta also details how the in-game assets were small and required doubling the size to make it feel natural for VR. The video further dives into other mechanics that needed workarounds for VR and does contain some slight spoilers if you haven't played Stanley Parable already.

Raicuparta has a Patreon available where you can donate to support their work. This will also let you play the creator's other mods, such as Firewatch, Return of the Obra Dinn, and more. Follow Raicuparta's Twitter to stay updated on the Stanley Parable VR mod.
