The Wolf Among Us 2 finally saw its first story trailer on Feb. 9, 2022, and with this reveal, we learned some critical details about the franchise's future. One tidbit of information that Telltale developers shared with players in this reveal event was the sequel's setting.
While The Wolf Among Us 2 is still a prequel to the Fables comics, it takes place six months after the first game. Bigby is taking part in anger management classes following the events of season one, where the Fabletown government fell, and Snow White ended up as Deputy Mayor when all was said and done. Fabletown is still the backdrop for this dramatic story of iconic Fable characters.
The sequel to The Wolf Among Us 2 uses a new engine with improved visuals that maintain the series style that fans can see in the reveal trailer below.
The Wolf Among Us 2 comes out in 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is currently in production at Telltale Games, and players can expect more information in the coming months.
