Finishing the main game is the prerequisite for unlocking endless World. It's not necessary to complete all 29 series to finish the game. Completion of the Theatrhythm Final Fantasy series questline, which is comprised of seven different series, is sufficient. Once this is achieved, endless world is added to the series quest menu.

What is endless world mode in Theatrhythm Final Bar Line

Endless world offers an infinite series questline, featuring songs from the entire tracklist. The questline structure is similar to normal series quests, with some unique differences.

In endless world, players start with three hearts. Unlike regular series quests, failure results in a lost heart. Once all three hearts are lost, the run is over and must be restarted. Like regular quests, endless world offers different song options at various nodes. However, only forward progress is allowed. Once a song is finished at any node, players are automatically pushed forward with no option to check the other songs or quests.

Endless world tracks three basic parameters: difficulty, stage progression, and perfect chain streak. These stats are displayed on the series quest menu before starting an endless world run.

The stage number and difficulty are grouped together, with the difficulty level reflecting the lowest setting played during the run. If a player starts on expert before moving to ultimate, endless world records this as an expert-level run. The perfect chain streak records the perfect chain between songs and resets once a player loses a perfect chain.
