How to put yourself out when on fire in Tunic

Tunic is a new isometric view action-adventure game that likes to let the players discover certain mechanics on their own. New players running into fire flinging enemies will surely be confused as to why nothing seems to put the fire out, but don't worry we've got you covered.

How to put yourself out

To stop yourself from burning, all you need to do is roll. Using your dodge roll multiple times will snuff out the flame and prevent you from taking any more damage. You can dodge roll by pressing the appropriate button for your control scheme. Roll as quickly as you can and after a few, your little fox friend will no longer be taking fire damage.

While on fire, the only way to put yourself out is to roll, water and healing potions will not do the trick.
Potions will replenish your health, but the fire will keep on burning and chipping away at your health until you dodge roll. Fire is also the only way to break out of ice.
