A Garlic Paradise is the first of the three new Adventures in Vampire Survivors. The update brings us many new content unlocks you can hunt down, but I assembled a list of all unlocks in the first Adventure to save you time and effort.
All Challenges and Unlockables in A Garlic Paradise Adventure in Vampire Survivors, listed
We compiled a list of all 14 unlockable rewards and challenges you need to accomplish them in A Garlic Paradise Adventure in Vampire Survivors.
1 - Survive 10 minutes in An Old Mad Forest
- Unlocks: Rough Awakening
Surviving for 10 minutes may seem like a daunting task, especially since you will have to start out all over again, but there are some key points you should do to make the task easier. Prioritize these power-ups to maximize your performance during runs:
- Might
- Health regeneration
- Max Health
- Gold bonus
2 - Survive 15 minutes in A Rough Awakening
- Unlocks: Risky Woods
Surviving for 15 minutes is the next stage in A Rough Awakening, but the initial challenge to survive 10 minutes in An Old Mad Forest will be much harder, as, by the time you reach this stage, you will have already leveled up all the necessary power-ups.
3 - Find the coffin in Risky Woods
- Unlocks: Rotten Orchard
Finding the coffin in the Risky Woods is a straightforward matter. Simply press Escape to open your map and follow the arrow that leads you to the Questionmark sign. You will have to defeat the ring of guardian skeletons, so be sure to level up to at least 30 before attempting this.
4 - Defeat a Jiva Tree in the Rotten Orchard
- Unlocks: Garlic Paradise
Jiva Tree will be your first formidable enemy in this Adventure, but the prize will be worth it. The tree is a Pepino variant and will chase you around the map slowly. It deals no damage to your character but will be really tough to kill and it may take you a couple of minutes of dealing with it.
5 - Reach Level 50 in Garlic Paradise
- Unlocks: Retirement
The story lore of this Adventure takes the old man Poe to retirement, so by following this achievement, you will have successfully completed his story arc.
6 - Defeat 3000 Molisani in Retirement
- Unlocks: 10000 Gold coins.
The plot twist is that Retirement is a stage in of itself, as Poe's adventures are not yet over. Fortunately, this challenge won't take too much of your time, as all enemies in this stage are static and don't give much resistance. Concentrate on the offensive, and don't take too many defense items as the kill count is imperative.
7 - Find the Whip
- Unlocks: Antonio
To find the Whip and unlock the very first character I started playing Vampire Survivors with, Antonio, you have to play on the second stage, Rough Awakening.
8 - Find the Magic Wand
- Unlocks: Imelda
To find the Magic Wand and unlock Imelda, you have to play on the second stage, Rough Awakening. I would use this opportunity to grab both of these objectives at the same time.
9 - Find the Runetracer
- Unlocks: Pasqualina
To find the Runetracer and unlock Pasqualina, you have to play on the second stage, Rough Awakening. Try getting this one at the same time as others to keep the repetition to a minimum.
10 - Find the Knife
- Unlocks: Gennaro
To find the Knife, you have to play on the second stage, Rough Awakening. Doing so unlocks Gennaro, the knife master of Vampire Survivors.
11 - Find the Coffin in A Rough Awakening
- Unlocks: Pugnala
Pugnala's Coffin is located on the Rough Awakening map. To locate it, simply open your Map by pressing the Escape button and look for the Questionmark symbol. Follow it until you arrive at the Coffin, guarded by a ring of skeletons. You must defeat them all to open the Coffin and free Pugnala.
12 - Evolve the Vento Sacro or find the Fuwalafuwaloo
- Unlocks: Zi'Assunta
Pick the Rotten Orchard map and simply evolve the Vento Sacro by combining it with Bloody Tear into Fuwalafuwaloo to obtain Zi'Assunta.
13 - Evolve the Garlic
- Unlocks: Peppino
Evolving the Garlic is a simple matter: just combine it with the Pummarola item. In this Adventure, you must achieve this evo to unlock Peppino.
14 - Reach Level 80
- Unlocks: Planar Bazaar
I saved the best and hardest for last, as evolving any character to Level 80 is the ultimate challenge in Vampire Survivors. Investing in the following power-ups will give you an edge during the run:
- Gold bonus: This power-up improves your gold-farming efficiency. It's best that you take it early on. The earlier, the better.
- Might: Determines how much killing power your character has. The more Might you have, the more enemies you will kill in a certain time frame.
- Health regeneration: You will inevitably take some damage during your run, and Health regeneration will go a long way in replenishing your health unless you luck out and keep finding floor chicken.
- Max Health: Helps with survivability just as much as Health regeneration. The higher your Max Health is, the more damage you can take without dying.
