How to defeat the Sword Guardian in Vampire Survivors

In Vampire Survivors, there are numerous boss monsters that spawn during a run. Besides the boss mobs that spawn on round minute numbers like eight and 10, each stage also has a formidable 24-minute boss. For Vampire Survivors’ Dairy Plant stage, that boss is the Sword Guardian.

To defeat the Sword Guardian, you first have to survive 24 minutes in the Dairy Plant. This can be incredibly difficult, as certain monster waves are designed to kill you outright. Make sure you’re using revives and have upgraded your Power-Ups as much as possible before attempting this.

At the 24-minute mark, the Sword Guardian will spawn and advance toward you. The best thing to do is to attempt to keep the Sword Guardian within range. Garlic, as always, is a great weapon to use against the Sword Guardian, as it will keep the regular enemies away from you. 

The Sword Guardian is less affected by knockback, so you’ll have to keep moving. Weapons like the Whip are perfect against this boss because you can keep moving away from him while attacking. It should take you few minutes to kill the Sword Guardian, but don’t delay it too long. You only have six minutes until Death spawns and kills you, ending the run. 

When Death spawns, all other enemies on the map are wiped out. Sometimes, this may not count as a “kill” on the Sword Guardian, robbing you of the achievement. To make sure you get the achievement, kill the Sword Guardian yourself.
