How to unlock Pugnala Provola in Vampire Survivors

A gunslinging survivor!

In an update to Vampire Survivors on March 26, developer Poncle added a new character as well as some quality of life changes. The character is a gun-wielding survivor known as Pugnala Provala, who is equipped with a pair of revolvers as standard. But how do you unlock Pugnala Provala in Vampire Survivors?

Pugnala Provala is located in the Coffin hidden in the first stage of the game, the Mad Forest. To unlock Pugnala Provala, you need to head to the question mark, usually located in the top right hand corner of the map. You’ll need to have unlocked the Milky Way Map item in-game in order to see the map.

When you approach the Coffin, a huge number of winged skeleton enemies will appear. You’ll need to kill all of these. Be careful as their health is incredibly high, so you’ll need a few levels and some weapon upgrades before you’re able to kill them. It’s best to head to the Coffin at about the five or six-minute mark, with a full inventory of weapons.

Once you’ve killed the skeletons, walk over to the Coffin and Pugnala Provala will appear and be unlocked once you’ve finished this run.

Pugnala starts with two starting weapons, Phiera Der Tuphello and Eight The Sparrow. These two gun weapons shoot diagonally towards the corners of the screen. Pugnala gains +1 might every level and has +20% move speed, making her a fast and high-damaging character, only slightly handicapped by the fact she can carry one less weapon.
