Ascend Adventure is an option that becomes available after completing each Adventure in Vampire Survivors. But, due to the developer's tendency not to explain new things in the game, I immediately wondered what would happen if I ascend it instead of simply moving on.
What happens when you Ascend Adventure in Vampire Survivors?
If you liked a particular adventure, you can choose to play it some more, and choosing the Ascend Adventure adds more content to it, just like a New Game+ would in other games. As you complete your Adventures in Vampire Survivors, you will be offered an option to continue playing it, but also be awarded Ascension Points.
What is the purpose of Ascension Points in Vampire Survivors Adventures?
Ascension Points in Vampire Survivors Adventures allow you to purchase a permanent character boost in one of the following stats:
- Curse
- Growth
- Luck
- Greed
The level of boost each successive Ascension Point provides is not linear, however. Each successive Ascension Point you spend will earn you less percent boost each time you use it, in the following increments:
- First point: 20% stat boost
- Second Point: 10% stat boost
- Third time and onward: 5% stat boost

If you're looking to gain more Ascension Points, I can't recommend replaying any of the Adventures past the third time because the amount of boost you get per point becomes negligible. Optimally, you're looking at Ascending each Adventure once. Doing so will earn you three points (which should be enough).
