I want to play as CM Punk already!

Community Creations usually keep WWE 2K games alive, and when you can't access them, you won't be able to download CAWs and Logos from other players. I compiled all the possible fixes for the Community Creations not working error in WWE 2K24.

Create a new Gamertag

Community Creations crashing has mostly been reported by Xbox Series X/S users, and 2K finally responded with a temporary fix for this issue. In the forum post, the 2K moderator suggested creating a new Gamertag on your Xbox Console and using it to enter the game.

Here's how you can create a new Gamertag or Profile on your Xbox Series X/S:

  1. On the Xbox Main Menu, press the Xbox button on your controller.
  2. Go right until you get to the Profile & Systems tab.
  3. Highlight Add or Switch.
  4. Log in with a secondary Microsoft Account, and continue with the profile setup.
  5. Launch WWE 2K24 and check to see if the Community Creations tab is now working for you.

Clear your Console Cache

2K usually advises their players to clear their cache whenever they are having issues or crashes when opening Community Creations in WWE 2K24.

Here are a few ways of how you can do this on your specific platform:

  • PS5: With the console turned off, hold the power button down until you hear a second beep (i.e., one beep on the press and one more while you're holding down the button). Connect your controller using a cable, press the PS button, and select "Clear System Software Cache."
  • Xbox Series X/S: Press and hold down the Xbox button on your controller until you access Power Center. Lastly, press Restart Console.
  • Steam: Launch Steam, go to settings and select Downloads. Click the Clear Download Cache button and press OK. Afterward, go to your Steam Library and right-click WWE 2K24. Select Properties>Local Files tab>Verify the Integrity of Game Files.

Check your internet connection

A lot of players are usually excited to hop onto their gaming chairs and sofas to play WWE 2K24 and try out the new Super Finishers. However, they may not notice that they are having internet connection issues when they get on their consoles. To avoid the game from crashing, ensure you have access to the internet before hopping onto the Community Creations tab.

Lastly, the Community Creations crash or error is affecting many users, specifically on the Xbox platforms. Since 2K has already provided a temporary fix for the problem (i.e. a secondary Gamertag), it means they are already aware of the issue and are trying to fix it as soon as possible.
