Nintendo has numerous first-party series, including The Legend of Zelda. Throughout the years, many entries in the series have been released across Nintendo's consoles, which includes The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom releasing exclusively on the Switch. However, with many companies increasing the price of new games, some fans may be wondering if The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will cost more than other Nintendo games.

How much is The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

There are two versions of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: the standard and Collector's Editions. Which one you purchase will determine the cost of the game, though the Collector's Edition comes with additional bonuses. Here is how much both versions of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom cost.

  • The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector's Edition: $129.99

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the first Nintendo title to feature the increased price of $69.99. Previous Zeldas, including The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, only cost $59.99. Nintendo has stated that not all first-party titles will have the new price, only a select few, which includes Tears of the Kingdom.
