How to clear Jochi-ihiga (Rock for Sale) Shrine in Zelda TotK (Tears of the Kingdom)

It's a rock fact.

The Jochi-ihiga Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was one that I avoided for a long time because I thought unlocking it would be more difficult than it was. But in fact, it's pretty simple! Here's how to clear the Jochi-ihiga (Rock for Sale) Shrine in TotK.

To clear the Jochi-ihiga Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom, you need to solve a puzzle in the Hyrule overworld: find the Shrine's corresponding green rock and bring it to the entrance. Once the rock is placed down in front of it, the door will open. The Shrine is a Rauru’s Blessing, meaning all you need to do is solve the puzzle and activate the door to complete it.

After you reach Tarrey Town for the first time via the railcar, you'll be asked by a man named Hagie if you'd like to buy a "weird rock" for 100 Rupees. While this may seem like an obvious "no" at first, you actually do want to purchase it, but not before his wife comes along and scolds him for ripping you off.

Thanks to her, the price will be lowered to 50 Rupees. Buy the green rock (which you'll notice is now emitting a beam of light), then speak to him again and purchase railcar access for an additional 20 Rupees.

Use Link's Ultrahand ability to lift the rock onto the wooden railcar platform and attach it with the A button so it doesn't roll off. Use an arrow to shoot the mechanism at the top of the railcar to activate it and stay on the platform until you reach the bottom. Unattach the rock from the platform and hop off.

You'll be at the Hudson Construction HQ in Torin Wetland, which works out in your favor because you'll want to make a fan boat, and there's an abundance of construction materials. To do this, grab one of the nearby wooden platforms and a fan or two and attach them all together using Ultrahand. Attach the rock to your boat, then use Ultrahand once again to lift the boat up.

Carry the boat south until the land meets the water. Here, you should see the rock's beam of light pointing directly at the Shrine across the lake. Place the boat in the water, making sure it's facing Jochi-ihiga Shrine head-on, then hit the fan with Link's weapon to activate them.

You'll be propelled directly across the water to the Shrine. Once the boat meets land, whack the fans again to deactivate them, then use Ultrahand to detach the green rock and place it in front of the blue seal before the Shrine door. Jochi-ihiga Shrine will finally open!

All that's left to do is head inside and grab your Blessing of Light—oh, and the Shrine chest.

To get the Jochi-ihiga Shrine chest, simply walk forward and open it; it's that simple! And better yet, you get a Diamond from it for all your trouble, which I was so excited to see when I opened the chest. They're sold for 1,000 Rupees a pop in Goron City, so I'd saved myself (and my wallet) a hefty purchase.
