Hearty Truffle is an essential ingredient when cooking dishes in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom because, when added to a meal, it gives Link temporary hearts. It's my go-to when creating food to use before boss fights. Here's how and where to farm Hearty Truffles in Tears of the Kingdom.

Where to farm Hearty Truffles in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom – TotK Hearty Truffle Location Map Coordinates

Hearty Truffles, and their better counterpart Big Hearty Truffles, are found in caves. Naturally, you'll explore many as you roam around Hyrule (especially if you prefer to spend hours running around the map doing random stuff as I do), so you may have already picked a few up.

How to farm Hearty Truffles in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Unlike Tabantha Wheat in TotK, where you can force its respawn, you cannot regenerate Hearty Truffles on the fly. Instead, you either need to wait for them to randomly appear again, or sleep in a bed until the next Blood Moon.

I've had success in finding either Hearty Truffles or Big Hearty Truffles in the following caves around Hyrule:

1. Passeri Greenbelt Cave—map coordinates -0506, 0123, 0021.
2. Whistling Hill Cave—map coordinates -0079, -1042, 0019.
3. Crenel Peak Cave—map coordinates 1313, 0294, 0035.
4. Crenel Hills Cave—map coordinates 0548, 0706, 0034.
5. Byord to Lanayru Wetlands—map coordinates 1570, -0839, 0010.
