In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Link must again take up arms to save Zelda and Hyrule from the coming evil. Link's journey will send him across Hyrule uncovering shrines and other secrets. Link must reach three shrines to unlock new abilities during the Great Sky Island tutorial section. The third shrine, Gutanbac Shrine, can be difficult to reach. If you struggled as I did, here is how to reach the Third Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
How to reach Gutanbac Shrine (Third Shrine) in Tears of the Kingdom
Once you exit the Bottomless Cave, you will arrive on a plateau directly below the Gutanbac Shrine. If you try to climb the icy rockface, Link will slip and fall off, as he cannot grasp the ice. I was left stumped with how to reach the shrine. I realized that if you turn back to the Bottomless Cave, you can climb the tree roots that will allow you to reach the upper platform.
This is the simplest way to climb the icy cliff to reach the third shrine. However, I discovered you could also cut down several trees in the surrounding plateau and create a makeshift ramp with the logs using the Ultrahand ability. You can then climb the logs to reach the plateau. While not the most efficient, I was also able to reach the plateau via this method.
