How to Get Griffin and Falcon of Darkness in Anime Rangers X
Griffin (Heavenely Feather) and Falcon of Darkness are two characters in Anime Rangers X based on Griffith from Berserk. To get them both, you'll need to complete the Falcon of Darkness Trial available in the Quests → Trials.
Finishing the trial rewards you with the Darkness Falcon Token, which you can then use to get one of the two versions of Griffith. If you want to get both versions, you'll need to complete the whole process again to get another Darkness Falcon Token. How to Get Eclipse Portals and Complete Falcon of Darkness 1/2/3
The only way to get Eclipse Portals in Anime Rangers X is to do Lake of Sacrifice Ranger Stages. Act 1 drops Tier 1 portals, Act 2 drops Tier 2, and Act 3 drops Tier 3. Here is some additional info regarding the first three Falcon of Darkness quests:
Which units can solo Tier 3 Eclipse Portals (Falcon of Darkness 1)?
- Ranger units (Prodigy Transcendent, Crimson Owl, Soul King, etc.) and OP Mythics / Secrets such as Perfect Bio-Android are your best bet for soloing the Tier 3 portal.
- Make sure to have Sovereign and Lv. 100 on units that you plan to use.

- Crying Behelit Souls drop from the Eclipse Portals. Keep doing them and once you have 3, equip them on your units and finish a Tier 2/3 portal to complete this quest.
How to Obtain Berserker (Falcon of Darkness 4)
To get the Berserker in Anime Rangers X, you'll need to evolve the Black Swordsman, which is a regular banner unit. The best way to get the Black Swordsman is to select him as the priority unit on the Rate-Up banner and then roll. Here are some tips on how to get the Berserker evolution material:
- Dragon Slayer: Craft it at the Crafting Station. This is the required evolution item.
- Ashes: Get it as a drop from Eclipse Portals.
- Broken Hilt: Get it as a drop from Eclipse Portals.
- Behelits: Get it as a drop from Lake of Sacrifice Ranger Stages.
How to Obtain Skeleton Knight (Falcon of Darkness 5)
The best way to get the Skeleton Knight in Anime Rangers X is to do Eclipse Portals. It has a 5% drop chance, no matter what portal tier you're doing, so getting it shouldn't be a problem. You can also trade for it, though, since you'll need to do at least 50 portals to finish other quests, chances are that you'll get it from there anyway.
Using the Griffith Token - Should You Choose Light or Darkness
Once you've completed all the quests, open the Quests → Trials menu and collect all the rewards. Use the Darkness Falcon Token from your inventory to choose which version of Griffith to obtain. Here is a short summary of what both versions do:
- Light - Griffin (Heavenly Feather): OP support unit that can buff ally DMG by up to +220%, based on how much Yen you've spent on its upgrades. Also, it buffs its own HP, SPA, and DMG based on how many allies are buffed in its range.
- Darkness - Falcon of Darkness / Falcon of Darkness (Darkness Merged): Meta DPS unit that has two versions. You pick which version you'll be using every time you equip the unit.
- Falcon of Darkness: Disables all other units you have and buffs its DMG and SPA with each disabled unit. It has immunity to stuns and status effects, gaining RNG and SPA instead of receiving ailments. Cycles between Stun/Slow/Bleed with every attack.
- Falcon of Darkness (Darkness Merged): Gains Eclipse stacks as it deals damage, increasing its stats in the process. Stuns all enemies at 100 stacks and applies a +15% DMG received debuff on them.

Griffin (Heavenly Feather) is better if you already have all the other meta units. If you don't have a reliable DPS yet, go with Falcon of Darkness.
Can you do the Griffith trial multiple times?
Yes, you can do the trial as many times as you want. That way, you can get duplicates of Griffith that you can trade or get both the Light and Darkness versions.
