In the latest Ink Game Update, the developers have added the much-needed and demanded feature from the community, which is to roleplay as a Guard. Though the feature is available, it has some limitations and requirements for players to use. So, in this guide, I will explain how to play as a Guard and the abilities you can use while roleplaying.
How to play as a Guard in Ink Game
A total of only eight players can become a Guard during a single game in Ink Game. You can become one of the eight Guards in one of two ways.

- Permanent Guard Gamepass: 799 Robux
- One-Time Guard Gamepass: 245 Robux or $325M (In-Game Money)

Yes, playing as a Guard is a sort of Premium feature and requires you to shell out either in-game money or Robux. I would suggest paying $325Million for a one-time Guard role, and, if you like the gameplay, you can shell out 799 Robux for a permanent Guard pass. You can enroll to play as a guard at the start of a round after selecting the initial participants.
All Guard Powers and roles in Ink Game
If you have volunteered to play as a Guard, you will have the following Powers.
- Red Light Green Light: During the Red Light Green Light mode, you will get a fully functional sniper rifle that can be used to shoot players. So, whenever a player moves during the round, you can scope and inflict damage to him during a small time period. If you manage to land 3 Shots on a single player, they will be eliminated. Also, the auto-turrets will do less damage if there are Guards in the game.
- Dalgona: If any players make a mistake or mess up, you can shoot them to earn extra money.
- Light's Out: During Light's Out, you can also join the players fighting among themselves or use your guns to show your presence on the field.
- Rebel: If you find yourself in the rebel ending, you must protect the Frontman from getting killed by shooting at all the players, along with the multiple AI Guards. Only during this round, you will be given five lives to stop the invading players.
