As the name suggests, The Forge is all about finding rare ores and crafting the perfect gear for your adventures. As the game progresses, you’ll want to make increasingly powerful weapons and armor. In this guide, we explain how to forge perfect-quality gear, how forging chances work, and how to master the crafting mini-games in The Forge.
Roblox The Forge Forging Mini Games Explained
The weapon and armor crafting process in The Forge isn’t just about clicking a few buttons and calling it a day. Instead, you’ll need to physically perform the crafting process in-world. It consists of four mini-games, and each one plays a role in determining the final result. You’ll want to master these mini-games as quickly as possible, as your performance directly affects the quality of your weapons.
The Forge Bellows Mini Game

This one is relatively straightforward. All you need to do is click and hold the green button with the up and down arrows, then move your mouse up and down as fast as possible to fill the meter on the right side of your screen. The goal is to move it quickly so you can fill the entire bar. The more you fill it, the better the final result will be. Gotta go fast!
PRO TIP: You’ll need to fill the bar on the right before the time runs out. I’ve found that the fastest way to do this is by making smaller up-and-down movements instead of using the full range of the bellows. This results in more efficient pumping and helps you fill the bar much faster, resulting in a better weapon.
The Forge Casting Mini Game

Next comes the casting part. Your goal here is to keep the small white wedge (on the bar to your right) within the yellow zone as it moves up and down randomly. You do this by pressing the left mouse button, which pushes the white wedge upward (otherwise, it slowly falls down). Keep it inside the yellow area as much as possible to achieve the best result.
PRO TIP: The yellow zone moves unpredictably and changes direction suddenly. To maximize your time inside it, try to keep the wedge near the center of the zone. Staying too close to the edges will make you fall out of it when it changes direction, resulting in a worse overall result.
Hammering Mini Game

The final mini-game is probably the hardest, but also the one that has the biggest impact on the final result. You’ll need to hammer the weapon by clicking the left mouse button when the inner and outer circles perfectly align. It’s a classic timing-alignment mini-game. Press at exactly the right moment to get a Perfect result. The more perfect hits you land, the better the final outcome.
PRO TIP: Click inside the circle just before the two circles actually align. There’s a slight delay in input registration, which means that in order to get a perfect score every time, you’ll need to click slightly before the visual alignment happens.
And that’s about all you need to know about these mini-games. I’ve skipped the third part (the one where you break the metal block with a hammer), since it’s not really a mini-game, but rather just an animation for the sake of immersion.
The Forge Crafting Quality Explained

The higher the crafting quality, the better the weapon you’ll create. That’s why it’s extremely important to aim for a near-perfect forging process by successfully completing all four mini-games without mistakes. Higher quality results in better weapon stats. Depending on your performance during the crafting process, the following quality tiers are possible:
- Broken (Worst quality)
- Poor
- Worn
- Average
- Good
- Excellent
- Perfect
- Masterwork (Best quality)
The Forge Forging Chance Explained
Each weapon and armor type has a certain chance of appearing when you forge equipment. The more ore you add during the smelting process, the higher the chance of getting bulkier gear, such as greatswords or heavy armor. Whenever you add or remove ore from the crucible, these values change. At any point, you’ll know the exact chances of getting a specific weapon or armor type.
Some weapon types have several unique weapons, and each of them has its own chance to appear. For example, if there is a 3% chance to get a Straight Sword, and the Rapier has a 1/8 selection chance within that category, then its effective drop rate would be 0.375%.
So there you have it, now you know everything you need to know about forging in The Forge. Once you master all the mini-games, you’ll be able to craft powerful masterwork gear with great stats, allowing you to purge the land of zombies, skeletons, and other enemies. The Forge Forging FAQ
Specific weapons always have the same drop chances. However, adding or removing ores will change the chances of getting a specific type of armor or weapon.
Its rarity, forging quality, enhancement status, runes, and more.
It’s currently not possible. The only way to get value from your weapons and armor is by selling them.
