Is Riders Republic cross play?

Freedom to all players.

Riders Republic is a massive multiplayer sports game from Ubisoft, and it combines the extreme sports of biking, snowboarding, skiing, and flying wingsuit into one exhilarating package. With such an emphasis on multiplayer competition, many wonder if cross play functionality will feature.

Yes, cross play is coming to Riders Republic, as confirmed by Ubisoft during the Ubisoft Forward E3 2021 stream. Riders Republic will release on PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X|S, and Stadia, and players across platforms will be able to compete against one another. It is unknown if cross play will feature immediately at launch, but as of now we assume the feature will be enabled upon release.

Moreover, the Riders Republic website confirmed support for cross-generation play, so players on PS4 will still be able to connect with friends on PS5. The only difference, perhaps, should be the game's technical performance depending on which generational platform you purchase the game on.

Ubisoft aims to make Riders Republic a social community for extreme sports addicts. The game will include social hubs for players to interact with each other, multiple iconic U.S. landmarks to explore and race, along with mass 50-player servers and races.

Rider's Republic releases on Sept. 2, 2021 and is available to pre-order on all major platforms now.
