This craftable rod requires you to collect four unique items from the various Valentine's Quests, especially the Sweetheart Sam at the center of the island. Here is a detailed guide to acquiring all three parts and getting Cupid's Embrace in Fisch.
What are the various items required to craft the Cupid's Embrace in Fisch?
To get the Cupid's Embrace, you need the following items in Fisch.
- x1 Sweet Lovestorm Turtle
- x1 Cupid's Core
- x1 Cupid's Handle
- x1 Cupid's Wing
All of these items are obtained as rewards for completing Sweetheart Sam at the center. However, the quests for these items begin pretty late after finishing the initial set of quests. So, here is a list of all the Sweetheart Sam quests and the rewards you can obtain from them.
How to get the Sweet Lovestorm Turtle
The first item that you require is the Lovestorm Turtle. This is a Lovestorm Event fish that spawns every 3 hours in the game, and you will receive a server-wide notification for it. When it spawns, head to the location in the main ocean and try to catch a Sweet Lovestorm Turtle using the following requirements.
- Bait: Fischerversation Hearts Box, Chocolate Fish
- Weather: Clear
- Time: None
- Season: Winter
After catching a Lovestorm Turtle, you can visit an appraiser until you receive the Sweet attribute. Otherwise, you can use Valentine(15% chance) or Cupid(10% chance) Enchantment obtained from the Valentine Relic on one of your rods to obtain it naturally while fishing.
How to get the Cupid's Core in Fisch
The Cupid's Core is obtained as a reward if you show your Lovestorm Turtle to the Sweetheart Sam NPC after finishing Quest 3. So, finish Quest 1 (Catching x3 Limited Fish) and Quest 2 (Complete 50% Bestiary and Catch x1 Blessed Dove) to take up the third task, which requires you to catch x10 Limited-time Lovestorm Fish.
This is the trickiest one out of all, as all three types of Lovestorm Event - Regular Lovestorm, Supercharged Lovestorm & Scared Lovestorm only spawn every three hours in the game + it's a global server event, which means everyone on the public server will be trying to get their hand on one unless you are playing on a private server. So, wait for the Lovestorm Event, then try to catch 10 Limited Fish from it. It will take at least 1 to 2 Lovestorm Events to complete the quest.
Once done, go back and speak with Sam to receive 750 Chocolates. Immediately, he will ask a question about whether you have seen something weird during the Lovestorm Event. Pick the option "The Odd Looking Turtle." He would acknowledge your answer and just show him the Lovestorm Turtle to get the Cupid's Core in return.
How to get Cupid's Wing in Fisch
After securing the Cupid's Core, there will be two other secrets remaining with Sam. Interact with him again and choose Hint 1 to bribe Sam with 50 chocolates. Now, he will give a brief clue: "Beyond the Waterfall."This is the next quest, which requires you to catch a Roseveil Koi inside the secret Waterfall Area next to the Valentine Merchant.
Enter the area with your Duo and sit on the bench on the left to spawn the Pink Pool. Now, try to get the Roseveil Koi using the details.

Remember, you cannot catch this without the Pink Pool inside the Behind Waterfall POI. So, either bring in a Duo or ask one of your friends to be one. Once caught, return to Sam and speak with him to get a Cupid's Wing.
How to get Cupid's Handle in Fisch
The final item required to get is Cupid's Handle. Interact with Sam again and select Hint 2 (150 Chocolate). He will say a long message that says "Candle, Lanterns, Box of Chocolates & Wishing well." There are two quests related to this Hint. The first part involves lighting 8 Valentine Lanterns, and the remaining part requires you to get a Loveletter Pike.
Firstly, go to the top of the mountain and enter the house to find the Candle of Compassion. Purchase it for 214C$. Now, you have to start lighting all eight Lanterns all around the map one by one. For the Loveletter Pike, you require a Box of Chocolates, which can be dropped anywhere on Sweetheart Shores. You would definitely have plenty of them if you had been fishing for some time on the island. Take one in your hand and ask your Duo partner to do the same. Stand in front of the Wishing Well with the Box of Chocolate to attract the Loveletter Longpike. If you do it correctly, the Well will glow pink, indicating that you should switch to a rod and catch the Longpike. Equip your rod and catch it. Now, return to Sam and show him the Loveletter Longpike to get the Cupid's Handle.
How to Craft Cupid's Embrace in Fisch
Once you have all the mentioned materials, you can go to the Ancient Archives and interact with the Crafting Table to craft the Cupid's Embrace for C$15,000, which has the following stats.
- Lure Speed: 70%
- Luck: 214%
- Control: 0.1
- Resilience: 14%
- Max Kg: 22500 kg
Speaking about the passive, it has a 25% chance to apply the Embraced Mutation (x9.1) with the Progress speed and resilience increasing gradually. Also, when you're fishing with someone else who has this rod, the mutation rate increases to 50%, and progress rises to 25%.
