If you want to be successful during your Morgue Shift and not get killed in the first couple of hours, then you should read our beginner's guide. I will talk more about the hospital map, how to handle some of the more complicated tasks, like Embalming and Sterilization, and how to complete all of your tasks successfully.
Morgue Shift Hospital Map
Since the game is set in Indonesia, the map and signs are not in English. You will get specific tasks that tell you to go to different rooms of the morgue. If you don't know where you're going or don't know the language, you will just be wasting precious time. Check out the breakdown of all rooms on both floors in Morgue Shift, as well as what you can do in each one.
Floor 1

Floor 1 of the Morgue Shift has four rooms, including the corridor and the Lobby where you spawn.
- Sterilization Room (Ruang Sterilisasi) - in the top-left corner, you complete the Sterilization of the body by washing it.
- Autopsy Room (Ruang Doktor Forensik) - to the left of the lobby is where you complete the autopsy, as well as input data on the computer.
- Lobby - where you spawn, answer the calls, as well as leave the stretchers back into the Elevator
- Cremation Room (Ruang Kremasi) - where you cremate the bodies and place them into Urns, to the right of the lobby
- The Morgue (Ruang Jenazah) - where you place the bodies in the freezer, in the far right corner of the first floor
Floor 2

On both sides of the hallway, you will find two ramps leading up to the second floor, which has seven more rooms, though not all are functional.
- Praying Room (Ruang Musholla) - currently, no tasks can be completed here
- Storage Room (Ruang Penyimpanan) - where you go to restock the other rooms, or to get the coffin after completing the Embalming process.
- Viewing Room (Ruang Duka) - the viewing room for the coffin; however, currently not in use for any tasks
- Electrical Room (Ruang Elektrikal) - you go here to fix the power when it goes out
- Embalming Room (Ruang Pengawetan) - the process of embalming the body is completed here.
How to Sterilize a Body in Morgue Shift

One of the more complicated tasks in Morgue Shift, which takes time and precision, is sterilization. If you want to know how exactly to sterilize a body fast, we are giving you a step-by-step guide below.
- Pick up the Stretcher from the Elevator, then head over to the Sterilization room. It's located to the left of the lobby area on the First Floor.
- Put the body on the Platform, then move the Stretcher away.
- Turn on the water.
- Grab the soap from the shelf to the left of this area, but to the right of the door. Wash the body with it, then turn off the water.
If the task tells you to bring the Stretcher back, then this process is done. However, Sterilization may also include a Shroud Sheet. In this case, you will pick up the Sheet from the shelf to the left of the door, then place it on the middle platform. Shroud the body, then place it back on the stretcher to complete the Sterilization process.
How to Embalm a Body in Morgue Shift
Embalming is another, more complicated process that even includes a couple of mini-games in The Morgue Shift. First, take the Stretcher up to the Embalming room on the second floor, to the left of the Electrical room. Here are all the steps you need to follow to embalm a body in Morgue Shift:
- Place the body on the platform
- Take the needle from the shelf on the left, then sew the mouth shut. This action will trigger a minigame where a line moves left and right, and you need to hit it exactly when it's in the red area.
- Take the Eyecaps from the left shelf again, then place them on the body.
- Grab a Scalpel from the tray next to the platform, and you'll now have to make an incision by dragging a straight line.
- Take the Arterial tube and connect it to the machine on the right of the platform.
- Fill it up with Embalming Fluid from the shelf on the right, and wait until it's done.
- Go across the hallway to the Storage room with the Stretcher to pick up a Coffin, then take iot back to pick up the body. That's the entire process of embalming.
How to Deal with the Entities in Morgue Shift

In classic mode, there are two types of encounters: the Entity, which chases you down, and the jumpscare encounters.
The simple jumpscare entities include various creatures that come at you fast, like the girl from The Ring, the big wolf creature, or even a body in a shroud. The shrouded body is a pretty common jumpscare, sitting in your chair in the lobby or falling from the ceiling whenever you interact with a door.
Flickering lights are another common encounter designed to scare you and take up more of your time. Don't let yourself be intimidated; you need to move quickly when completing your Tasks to have a successful shift.
When it comes to the one deadly Entity with the glowing red eyes, it will spawn in a room behind closed doors. You will know it's there when you start to open the door and hear a loud screech, along with your camera shaking. If you close the door before it can get out, then it will usually get stuck. You can also get it stuck on corners near the ramp, and just wait it out until it despawns. If it does catch you, however, this is a one-shot kill.
How to be Faster in a Morgue Shift

Speed is very important if your goal is to achieve the best possible ending. That means completing Tasks fast, and we're here to give you the best tips on how to do that.
- As soon as you answer the phone, go in front of the elevator to grab the stretcher.
- Learn the map thoroughly so that you don't just walk around getting lost. Given that you can't run, this is very important.
- You don't have to be in the exact position next to the platforms to start a task. Usually, a prompt will pop up even if you are further away. Use this as an opportunity to shorten the time it takes you to complete tasks.
- When you're done with a Task, use the phone, then immediately clip the Stretcher through the elevator doors. As soon as the Elevator is actually on the floor, it will register the stretcher and send it back to where it came without the doors even opening fully.
One of the tasks you get on the phone for may be cleaning the floors. The broom is already in your inventory; you just have to equip it. However, you will notice that you can't clean the floor. That's because you need to go around the hospital to find the specific dirty spots that need cleaning. These look like blood or dirt stains.
The stretcher always has to be on the right
You need to handle more than 10 bodies to meet operational requirements. That means you have to be very fast when you are completing tasks in order to avoid a Shift Incomplete ending.
It spawns every thirty minutes of in-game time, which means every half an hour of your shift.
If you are fast and good at your job, you will be invited to a Private dinner, which will trigger the Invitation ending. You will enjoy a private meal with the nurses, though you're not sure what meat you are eating. In this case, your shift ends before 6 AM.
