How to Defeat the Wasp King in the Grow a Garden Bizzy Bees Event?

To defeat the Wasp King in the Bizzy Bees Event, you will first have to destroy a swarm of wasps that spawns on a random location on the map every 10 minutes. After you have done that, the Wasp King will appear, and you will have to hit it with your shovel and take your bees with you, as they will help you during the fight. The fight can be quite protracted as the king has 1000 health, and you do only 3 damage per shovel hit.

Most of the damage you do to the Wasp King will be coming from your bees, more on which you can find in this guide. In short, you should know that better and rarer bees do more damage and have more health, and thus you should be aiming to obtain them as soon as possible. During the fight, some of your bees will likely be taken out, but do not fear, as this does not make you lose them permanently but rather returns them to their respective beehives at your base to rest.

So, the best method to defeat the Wasp King in part 3 of the Bizzy Bees Event is to spam your shovel at him as much as you can, and to get a lot of good-quality bees. The bees can also be upgraded with some useful combat stats, more of which you will find as you keep reading. Ideally, you can also enlist the help of other players, which will make the wasp king fight infinitely easier, but be aware that you will also have to share the rewards with them. Alternatively, if you want all the rewards for yourself, you might want to consider fighting the wasp king on private servers, as no other player can encroach upon you while you fight him.

Which Bee Combat Upgrades should I prioritize in the Bizzy Bees Event?

While the general combat bee upgrades you should be prioritizing depend purely on the amount of bees you currently possess, the main one you should always be going for is the Damage upgrade, as it will help you take down the Wasp King faster.

Since the Damage upgrade is universally useful, you should always try to keep it a level or two above all the other available upgrades. The list below explains exactly what they are and which ones you should be going for:

  • More Health: Gives your bees more health, helping them last longer in a fight. Most useful when you have a small number of bees, as they become harder to take out.
  • Lifesteal: Makes your bees replenish lost health. Not very useful in general since the bees get hurt in a few hits anyway, and likely won't get the chance to utilize this skill. It only shines once More Health has been upgraded several times.
  • Faster Respawn: Most useful for when you have a massive swarm of bees, as you are able to keep up the damage output via the sheer weight of numbers.
  • Critical Chance: Mostly useless since the critical hits happen rarely, even with this upgrade, which is reflected by its low price. Can get a bit better if used while you have a lot of bees,
  • Looting: Makes the Wasp King drop more and better loot once defeated. Extremely useful, but only when you are absolutely certain that you can defeat him somewhat easily.

So, if you are going for a massive swam build, you should be prioritizing upgrades in this order: Damage, Faster Respawn, Critical Chance, More Health, Lifesteal, and Looting. If you have a few better quality bees, go for this order: Damage, More Health, Lifesteal, Faster Respawn, Critical Chance, Looting.

The Upgrade tree is located in the middle of the map, represented by a giant bee with a honeycomb behind it.
