Saving in Axiom Verge 2

How to Save in Axiom Verge 2

Don't lose your progress!

Axiom Verge 2 was released in August of 2021. As a new game, many players are struggling to figure out how to save their progress. As fun as the game is, it doesn't explain how to save, and most players just stumble across the information by accident. In the guide below, we explain what to look for when you're trying to save your game.

The first thing you need to know is how to find a save point on the map. This is shown in the image above on the left. When you have your map open, look for an icon that looks like a light-blue martini glass. These represent the altars at which you can save your progress.

Once you find a save point, navigate your character to that point on the map. Most save points on the map will only shop up once you have already reached them, which means there should be a path back to that point if you see it there. When you reach the save point, the next step is simple.

In the image above on the right, you will see what you need to do to save your game. Approach the altar and Press the Up Button on your device. On a PC, this is the Up Arrow. On console devices, press Up on your D-Pad.

Once you have completed the instructions above, your game is saved! Any time you die, you will return to the latest altar where you saved your game.
