On September 23, 2021, Nintendo announced the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, an upgrade program for Nintendo Switch's Online membership program. It brings one of the most requested features to the platform: Playing Nintendo 64 games on the Nintendo Switch.

With the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion pack, some of the most popular Nintendo 64 titles will be available with online play capabilities, meaning friends can enjoy their favorite childhood games together via the internet. A handful of titles will be available when the program launches in late October 2021, and we've gathered the confirmed titles for you below:

  • Super Mario 64
  • Mario Kart 64
  • Starfox 64
  • Yoshi's Story
  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
  • WinBack Covert Operations
  • Mario Tennis 64

  • Sin and Punishment

With a list of titles set to grow over time with titles like The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask promised for addition, later on, it's sure to be an addition to the online service many players will appreciate. There are even some Sega Genesis titles set for release alongside these Nintendo 64 classics.
