The Wingsuit is an ability/trait unique to the Sundance Specialist in Battlefield 2042. They use this equipment instead of a parachute. The Wingsuit allows you to traverse distances quickly that otherwise wouldn't be possible to traverse unless you were using an aircraft.
Again, you must equip the Sundance Specialist in order to use the Wingsuit. To deploy it, gain some height and jump off the platform you're standing on. The platform doesn't need to be at a great height. As such, standing on a container crate works just fine.
Press the parachute input (Space for keyboard) to activate the Wingsuit. You can maneuver the wingsuit by using the default directional and movement controls. Using the Wingsuit proficiently, however, requires considerable skill and practice. You can get a glimpse of Sundance's Wingsuit and other abilities in Battlefield's Twitter post below.
Gaining complete mastery over Sundance's Wingsuit may take some time, but once you get good at it, you'll resist switching to any other Specialist. The tricks and actions you can perform with the Wingsuit are endless and overwhelming.
Please note that you may take some damage if you collide head-on with the ground or if you open the Wingsuit right before hitting the surface. This does happen often, though, so there's no need to worry about it being a major issue.
