How to clear anomalies in Solar Ash?

Pointed stick!

Though Solar Ash is a faced paced game, there is black ooze that can slow down your speed considerably. Yet without this goop, you would find it hard to access certain areas, as you can climb it. Anomalies create this black ooze, and Rei's job is to clean it all up.

When you get to an anomaly, you'll notice a pointed object sticking out of a certain location in the ooze. Upon hitting it with your weapon, the object will move, and a timer bar will appear at the bottom of your screen. You need to hit the next object in the chain to increase this timer. A line will connect these in a chain, so you know the direction you must go to find the next one.

Once you have reached the end of the chain, you'll have to grapple onto the last object, and you'll drive it into the eyeball of the anomaly.

It's a simple as that, but you do have to think on your feet and fast, as the timer, doesn't last very long at all. Every anomaly you come across will be different. Some will utilize black ooze heavily, but others will be all about speed and grappling onto specific points.
