How to unlock Carnage and Gates of Fire game modes in Century: Age of Ashes

Remember to play the objective.

Century: Age of Ashes is a free-to-play multiplayer game where players ride dragons and battle it out. There are a variety of game modes to enjoy, but not all are unlocked at the start of the game. At first, players only have access to the Spoils of War game mode and cannot play the others as they are locked.

To unlock the Carnage and Gates of Fire game modes in Century: Age of Ashes, you will need to complete matches in quickplay. The requirement is listed as 1 match for Carnage and 3 matches for Gates of Fire. So players will need to get some flight time in before they can switch modes.

Carnage is a 6v6 team deathmatch where players must kill the opposing team to score points. Earning kill streaks will grant players bounties which can be upgraded by getting more kills. Eliminating players with bounties scores more points.

Gates of Fire is a round-based game mode that features capture the flag mechanics and high-speed chases. Players must pick up the flag and fly through various gates. Each gate will score that team points and win them the round. Winning two rounds will declare that team the victor.
