Along with the six New Year's quests and special 2022 headband, Royale High players can also earn a secret, less glamorous item from the 2022 New Year's Party event—the Sewer Rat. How to unlock the Sewer Rat
To unlock the Sewer Rat, players will need to find and open the hidden 2022 New Year's chest. To many users' dismay, this chest can be found tucked away inside of the underground sewer maze. Luckily, however, we've created the walkthrough below to help get you there as quickly as possible!
2022 New Year's chest location
To begin, you'll first need to use the entrance on Friendship Drive to enter the sewer.
After hopping into the sewer, follow the path straight, passing all of the entrances along the first hallway.
You should now enter the second hallway pictured below. In this hallway, continue straight until you reach the last entrance on the left—turn here.

Now, follow the curves in the hallway until you reach a dead-end—do not turn down any of the side entrances.
Once you reach the dead-end, turn left.
The chest should now be directly in front of you, waiting to be opened!
Upon opening the chest, a pop-up will appear that awards you with the Sewer Rat item! You can now live out your rattiest fantasies in Royale High.
