Great Baggi Elemental Weakness

The Great Baggi's fundamental weakness is its disdain for fire. If you don't happen to have that, water and thunder are solid alternatives that are sure to back a punch when wailing on this Bird Wyvern. Make sure to avoid using ice or dragon aspected weapons, as the Great Baggi is immune to these types of damage.

Focus your attacks on the Head and Body of the Great Baggi to deal the most damage in combat. Keep in mind that fire out damages water and thunder weapons and will make quick work of this foe.

Great Baggi Resistances and Ailments

The Great Baggi is immune to the Sleep ailment, but there are plenty of ailments that impact the Wyvern. Paralysis, Blast, and Exhaust are all highly effective ailments on the Great Baggi, and Fireblight is also helpful, though not as much as the previously mentioned ailments.

Great Baggi Drop Rates - Carves, Capturing & Breaking

Depending on your quest, you can get different rewards to forge armor and weapons, but each has a drop rate percentage, ultimately RNG. It is pure luck what you receive.

  • There are multiple ways of gaining items
    • You can carving three times once the monster is dead.
    • You can capture the monster instead of killing it.
      • Or carving the broken appendage of said monster.
    • From looting the drops from the monster
    • After successfully compleing your quest

Most of the monsters in Monster Hunter Rise have areas of their bodies that break and the Great Baggi is no different. Attack the Great Baggi's Head to break pieces off and net yourself additional rewards at the end of the hunt.
