Monster Hunter Rise is a series known for its unique bosses and enemies. Each monster is an entity with behavioral patterns, strengths, and weaknesses that any adept hunter must keep track of if they want to take these beasts down. One of Monster Hunter Rise's bosses, Jyuratodus, the Mud Fish Wyvern, lurks in swamps, attacking enemies that cross its path. Make sure you know how to tackle this foe before facing it in the field.
When fighting this beast, it's good to know what it's weak against or where to inflict that good old damage to slaughter the foe quickly. So here's Jyuratodus's weaknesses, resistances, and drop rates.
All Jyuratodus Weaknesses
Jyuratodus Elemental Weakness
Jyuratodus' main weakness is its aversion to thunder, so if you have any weapons with this elemental attribute, be sure to bring them along for the hunt. If you lack a thunder weapon, try taking fire, ice, or dragon weapons when fighting this monster. These weapons are nowhere near as impactful as thunder, but they're effective enough to make a difference. Do not use water weapons when fighting Juratodus, as it is immune to water damage.
Those using thunder weapons should focus their attacks on the Torso and Legs of the Jyuratodus for the most damage. If you've got a fire weapon, focus on the Legs. However, ice and dragon weapons don't get damage bonuses for attacking any specific area of this boss.
