Volvidon's primary weakness is water, so bring along any weaponry infused with this element to inflict the most damage. If water is out of the question, try taking an ice tool instead, as it is an effective second option if a bit weaker than water. If all else fails, be sure to take a thunder weapon as it is an excellent third option in this fight. Do not use fire or dragon weapons in the battle against the Volvidon. This monster is immune to damage of these types.

Those with water weapons should aim their attacks at Volvidon's Head, Upper Half, and Back. If you brought along ice or thunder gear, focus your attacks on the Head.
