Pokémon Go Regice Raid Guide: Best Counters and Weaknesses

It's as easy as you'd think.

One of the featured Pokémon for the upcoming week's Raid Hour is Regice. During the Raid Hour, players worldwide will see an increase in Tier 5 Raids, half of which will host Regice: the Iceberg Pokémon!

Schedule

The Raid Hour is hosted every Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm local time. Regice's Raid Hours will be hosted on Jan. 26, 2022. Being hosted local time means that no matter where you are in the world, the Raid Hour will start at exactly 6pm, and you don't have to adjust for time zones.

Raid Guide

Regice

  • Type: Ice
  • Weak Against: Fighting, Fire, Rock, and Steel
  • Strong Against: Ice
  • Notes
    • Pure Ice types aren't strong against anything but themselves, so you don't have to worry about avoiding ineffective attacks.
    • Most people assume Fire is best, but Steel is just as effective against and resistant to Ice! Fire and Steel have completely different weather boosts, making it easier to get bonus damage against Regice.
    • Some of the strongest Fire Pokémon are also Flying types, but Regice can destroy Flyers quickly. Keep your Fire Pokémon grounded if you're taking on a Regice.

Counters

Because Mega Pokémon are rarely used, we opted not to include them in the list of the best counters.
