Genshin Impact is a game that is constantly getting updated with new lore. Even so, it can still be a bit hard to figure out just where Teyvat stands in the land of technological advancements. Luckily, there are some clues to help us figure out how much technology is available in Teyvat.
When you explore Teyvat and go through quests, you will notice that elemental objects power most of the regions. There isn't a heavy need for complicated tech in many regions, but some notions of human advancement still lie around.
In one of Barbara's hang out endings, she is seen carrying a plastic cup. There is also a hidden factory in Liyue using machinery, and Fontaine seems to be going through a steampunk era. This seems to allude to Teyvat having the capability for more advanced technology but not needing it due to the archons and vision bearers.
With the evidence given, it seems that Teyvat is currently in the industrial age. Although, some of the Fatui's weapons could mean that parts of the world are a bit further along.
