The biggest topic that has come out of version 2.5 of Genshin Impact is the release of Yae Miko. Yae Miko is a Five-Star Electro that has won over the love of fans around the world. Before you pull on her, though, you do need to know where she fits into your team.
Yae Miko is a support character, but there is some DPS potential if you really love her. Originally, there were rumors around her being a new ceiling for DPS characters (see Reddit user Phunguyen99's post on Reddit and the discussions below). Many different leaks claimed that she would be one of the most powerful units in the game, but these have all proven to be false.
This doesn't mean that she isn't going to hit hard when she is on the field, though. Her specialty is off-field damage with a quick and powerful on-field burst that's sure to deal massive damage to enemies. You will likely find yourself playing her as a burst support because of this.
She can throw down her fox totems, and then, you can switch to another character while electro damage is still being applied. This will synergize well with players who have Raiden Shogun and opens up more possibilities for the mono electro team.
