Pokémon Go: The Higher They Fly – All Quest Steps & Rewards

Pokémon Go players can tackle Team Go Rocket by completing the Higher They Fly Questline. These Quests will have players primarily focusing on Team Go Rocket Grunts and Leaders found at PokéStops, eventually working their way up to their leader.

Quest 1/6:

• Win 1 Raid - 15 Poké Balls
• Defeat 3 Team Go Rocket Grunts - 3 Hyper Potions
• Catch 1 Shadow Pokémon - 3 Revives

Reward: 10 Pinap Berries, 10 Nanab Berries, and 10 Razz Berries

Quest 2/6:

• Catch 5 Shadow Pokémon - 1 Sun Stone
• Make 3 Nice Curveball Throws in a row - 15 Great Balls
• Catch 10 Flying-type Pokémon - Doduo encounter

Reward: 1,500 XP, 500 Stardust, and 10 Mega Pidgeot Candies

Quest 3/6:

• Purify 5 Shadow Pokémon - 30 Mega Pidgeot Candies
• Defeat 5 Team Go Rocket Grunts - 30 Mega Pidgeot Candies
• Walk with your buddy Pokémon to earn 3 Candies - 30 Mega Pidgeot Candies

Reward: 2,000 XP, 1 Rocket Radar, and Pidgeot Candy

Quest 4/6:

• Defeat Team Go Rocket Leader Arlo - 1,250 XP
• Defeat Team Go Rocket Leader Cliff - 1,250 XP
• Defeat Team Go Rocket Leader Sierra - 1,250 XP

Reward: 2,500 XP, 1,000 XP, and 1 Super Rocket Radar

Quest 5/6:

• Find the Team Go Rocket Boss - 5 Max Potions
• Battle the Team Go Rocket Boss - 20 Ultra Balls
• Defeat the Team Go Rocket Boss - 5 Max Revives

Reward: 3,000 XP, 1 Fast TM, and 1 Charged TM

Quest 6/6:

• Claim reward - 2,000 XP
• Claim reward - 2,000 XP
• Claim reward - 2,000 XP

Reward: 2 Golden Razz Berries, 2 Silver Pinap Berries, and 1 Premium Battle Pass

How do you defeat the Team Go Rocket Leaders and Giovanni?

To most effectively defeat the three Team Go Rocket Leaders (Arlo, Sierra, and Cliff), players should be sure to look up their lineup before the battle. They can have a few different Pokémon in their possession and it is no easy fight. Knowing which Pokémon to bring as counters can be the difference between victory and defeat.
