Players will find many familiar faces from past Kirby games while playing Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Many of these beloved characters, such as Meta Knight, are found in the Colosseum, where players are allowed to battle optional bosses. Others are found simply by playing through the main story and thus cannot be missed. Players will encounter one such icon in the main story: King Dedede, the leader of the Waddle Doos and Waddle Dees.
When and Where to fight King Dedede?
King Dedede can be found by traversing through the stage called An Unexpected Beast King in Winter Horns, the fourth world of the game. Longtime fans of the Kirby franchise will notice that his design looks slightly different than in past games, though still recognizable with his penguin-like appearance and hammer at the ready.

In preparation for battling King Dedede, players should note that he has two phases. His attacks are fairly easy to avoid by keeping a safe distance, and players can damage him by inhaling the stars that he drops and shooting them back at him.
