Genshin Impact Theater Mechanicus: Slumber Spirit’s Bridge (Enter the Horde) guide — Hues of the Violet Garden Event

Time your bridge-closing right.

Genshin Impact's Hues of the Violet Garden event opens Inazuma to the rest of Teyvat with the Magnificent Irodori Festival. It runs from April 7, 2022, to April 25, 2022, and is open to all players Adventure Rank 30 and above who have completed the Ritou Escape Plan segment of the Archon Quest: Chapter II: Act I - The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia.

If you have not completed the Inazuma character Story Quests, you must access the event from the Quick Start button on the bottom left of the event menu.

How to Unlock Theater Mechanicus

You can unlock the Theater Mechanicus mini-game by completing the Event Quest What the Blue Flowers Left Behind. This directly follows The Strange Tale of Suikou's Tipsy Tincture.

Unlike the previous iterations of Theater Mechanicus, the mechanics for this round are a little different. Co-op mode is no longer allowed, and Fortune Sticks has replaced Mystic Arts, which can't be enhanced. Each stage boasts an easy mode (Show of Force) and a hard mode (Enter the Horde).

  • Fortune Stick: Swell
  • Fortune Stick: Surging Fury
  • Fortune Stick: Frost Pellet
  • Fortune Stick: Rolling Thunder
  • Fortune Stick: Siege
  • Fortune Stick: Long Arm
  • Fortune Stick: Constancy
  • Fortune Stick: Brambles
  • Mystic Stick: Arrow Shower

Mechanici Placement

Reference the image above for the Mechanici placement at the front of the Adeptus Bridge. You want to focus on placing Hydro and Cryo Mechanici to help Freeze enemies, delaying their movement.

Meanwhile, reference the image above for the Mechanici placement at the back of the Adeptus Bridge. This section will focus on dealing as much long-distance damage as possible while delaying enemies' movement with Binding.

Using this strategy will merit you a perfect score of 3,000, but you need to make sure to use the exact Fortune Sticks prescribed above to maximize your damage output. You can place all 14 Mechanici before starting the wave. Once the enemies come, all you need to do is control the Adeptus Bridge.

Close the Adeptus Bridge during the following instances:

  • A large number of Slimes step on it.
  • A Hydro Abyss Mage steps on it.
  • Whenever there are two Ruin Guards—let the first Ruin Guard pass and close the bridge when the second one steps on it.
  • When there's a Ruin Grader and Thunderhelm Lawachurl—let the Thunderhelp Lawachurl pass and close the bridge when the Ruin Grader steps on it.
  • When there's a Ruin Hunter and Thunderhelm Lawachurl—let the Ruin Hunter pass and close the bridge when the Thunderhelm Lawachurl steps on it.
