While it may technically still be a Battle Royale, the Flashpoint Limited Time Mode (LTM) requires a different type of strategy than the standard Battle Royale in Apex Legends. This means you will have to think differently about which Legends you and your squad will choose and think about which character will be ideal for Flashpoint’s style of gameplay.
While some players may stick with the Legend they know best if you are looking for a chance to branch out, here are the best Legends to play for the Flashpoint LTM in Apex Legends.
Best Legends to use for Flashpoint
In Flashpoint, you will want to prioritize one of three playstyles: healing, mobility, or aggression. Healers are going to be the most valuable, as they will allow your team to easily patch up outside of the Flashpoint Zones. Some characters are just one of these elements, while others are two.
Lifeline (Healing)
Lifeline is a must-have in Flashpoint, as her tactical is the only way you can easily heal up your entire team’s health regardless of location. Having a Lifeline is vital because it makes players less reliant on the Flashpoints altogether.
Key Abilities: D.O.C. Heal Drone (Tactical)
Wattson (Healing)
Wattson is the second-best option for Flashpoint, as she can heal her own shields passively and her whole team’s shields with her ultimate. She is a deadly combo with Lifeline, as you can combine her ultimate and Lifeline’s tactical to fully patch up outside of a Flashpoint. Though be careful of this glitch.
Key Abilities: Interception Pylon (Ultimate), Spark of Genius (Passive)
Octane (Mobility, Healing)
Octane’s passive health regen pairs nicely with a shield swap, and it a good way to have someone on your team healing even if you don’t have a Lifeline. His Jump Pad can also be a quick transition for your team into a Flashpoint if you need to patch up.
Key Abilities: Jump Pad (Ultimate), Swift Mend (Passive)
Valkyrie (Mobility)
Valkyrie is all about the movement, and her ultimate is ideal for relocating a team, especially if everyone is low health and shields and needs to get to a Flashpoint. Valkyrie’s ability to scan enemies on the way down can also help your team find an area where things are safe.
Key Abilities: Skyward Dive (Ultimate)

Mad Maggie (Aggression, Mobility)
Mad Maggie also wasn’t on the roster the first time Flashpoint was introduced. Her ultimate is great for moving around or in and out of a Flashpoint, but her tactical is also key in dealing hefty blows to a team that may be trying to avoid taking damage at all costs.
Key Abilities: Riot Drill (Tactical), Wrecking Ball (Ultimate)
Revenant (Aggression, Mobility)
Revenant’s tactical is a perfect way to cut off another team’s ability to heal in a fight outside of a Flashpoint. This stacked with his ultimate is especially deadly. Another great way to use his ultimate is to place it in a Flashpoint and use Octane’s Jump Pad to attack a team outside of the Flashpoint.
Key Abilities: Silence (Tactical), Death Totem (Ultimate)
Caustic (Aggression)
Caustic’s Gas is brutal against an enemy team that doesn’t have a Lifeline. If you can hit a team with your traps outside of a Flashpoint, and then hit them with your ultimate, it will be pretty difficult for a team to recover if you and your teammates are going in for the kill.
Key Abilities: Nox Gas Trap (Tactical), Nox Gas Grenade (Ultimate)
