Following the success of other recent Roblox collaborations that have brought exceptionally popular brands, such as Squishmallows, to the platform, Sanrio has made its way into the Roblox Metaverse with the creation of My Hello Kitty Cafe. This experience, while not yet open, will invite players to create and manage their own Hello Kitty-themed cafe with the help of a few familiar faces, including the famed feline herself, Hello Kitty. Though information beyond this broad description is limited at the time of this article's publication, the development company has been teasing a few sneak peeks on its official Twitter account, and the experience is expected to release on April 25, 2022.
Among these sneak peeks are first looks at some of the Sanrio character designs, including My Melody, Pompompurin, Pekkle, and more. With an entire roster of colorful characters, it's likely that this experience will debut a few surprises upon its release as well.

Rock Panda Games, the development team behind this experience, have also been asking for fan contributions and advice on what activities should be included inside of My Hello Kitty Cafe, posting numerous interactive polls on Twitter and Discord.
A handful of lucky fans were even able to sign up as alpha testers for the experience through a now-closed Google document that was available in March of 2022.
With all of this community inclusivity, fans are hoping that My Hello Kitty Cafe will prioritize user satisfaction and, in turn, grow into a successful and long-lasting experience. In the meantime, players can get into the Hello Kitty spirit by looking through a few Sanrio-themed Roblox accessories, including the Hello Kitty Hat, Pompompurin Vest, Tuxedo Sam Backpack, Cinnamoroll Backpack, and Kuromi head band.
