How to turn on Variable Refresh Rate on PS5

Change the VRR settings here.

PlayStation 5 is receiving Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), a feature that allows the refresh rate to adjust in real-time on supported screens and games. This feature improves visual performance by reducing frame pacing issues, input lag, and screen tearing.

Once the VRR patch is installed on your PS5, it will be automatically enabled if your console is connected to a supported display output, i.e., HDMI 2.1 VRR-compatible TVs and monitors. If you want to disable it for any reason, you can do so from the Screen and Video tab in the system settings.
