What is the password for the machine in Kirk’s room in the Distant Future Scenario – Live A Live

He had a lot of free time.

Rooms in the Distant Future scenario in Live A Live contain a ton of messages, secrets, and story-related events. However, Kirk’s room is probably the only one that contains an unlockable secret. You’ll find out it exists once you’re free to enter his room and examine the transceiver (the machine they can use to send and receive messages). However, you’ll need a password to unlock it.

The password is Warp Speed. You’ll actually receive the hint many times during the game, so long as you talk to Kirk or the people around him. It’s his verbal tick, meaning “good fortune.” Huey thinks it’s probably a consequence of Kirk’s wishes to safely return to earth after each journey to space.

When the message unlocks, you’ll be told to look at the foot of the bed. Position your robot at the bottom part of Kirk’s bed to find a Memory Card. If you’ve messed around in the Recreation Room long enough, you’ll know that it’s used to save your data when playing the unforgiving game of Captain Square. Kirk loves this game.

You don’t need the Memory Card to finish Captain Square, but it’ll certainly make it easier. Captain Square is a tactical strategy game with nine levels. Without the memory card, you have to start at level one every time you lose.

The Distant Future scenario is filled with a lot of hidden things like this. In fact, you’re very much encouraged to explore the ship at your own leisure, if only to put together a more complete story at the end. Learn more about your crewmates and the lives they lived.
