MultiVersus offers a diverse roster of characters from across Warner Bros.' many franchises, and you can select them in platform fighting matches. Players can enjoy friendly matches or competitive ones, depending on their mood. This includes Ranked matches, which may leave you wondering how to unlock and play Ranked Mode in MultiVersus.

Unfortunately, MultiVersus is in its pre-season, meaning that Ranked Mode is not yet available. This will change on August 9, 2022, when MultiVersus' Season One launches. Players will then be able to select Ranked Mode and engage in truly competitive matches. We will update this guide once more information becomes available.

How to play Ranked Mode in MultiVersus

Playing Ranked Mode in MultiVersus is extremely easy. All you have to do is select the mode when playing online. Here is how to play Ranked Mode in MultiVersus.

  • Select Play
  • Choose Online
  • Navigate to Ranked in the options
  • Queue up for Ranked Mode

Ranked Mode is not yet available, but once it is added, you can select it from the other online modes like 1v1 and 2v2. Ranked Mode will present a test of your skill as you will play against other players who are interested in the competitive side. You will likely want to play your best character and put some time in the Lab to perform well and earn victories.
