Pokémon GO Fashion Week 2022 – Mareanie Debut, New Shiny Pokémon, Costumed Variants, & More

Niantic has announced the details for Fashion Week 2022 in Pokémon GO, the next event to take place during the Season of Light celebration. This is the return of the yearly Fashion Week event and will bring new Pokémon, new shiny monsters, and new costumed variants into the game. The event will run from Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 10am local time until Monday, October 3, 2022, at 8pm local time. Full details on the event can be found below.

Debut Pokémon

Mareanie and its evolution, Toxapex, are both making their Pokémon GO debut. Mareanie can be found in the wild, in Three-Star Raids, and as a reward for certain Research Tasks. Once caught, Mareanie can be evolved into Toxapex using 50 Mareanie Candy. This is a hefty price, but players will likely have a chance to obtain that Candy amount during the event. The shiny forms of these Pokémon will not be available during the event.

Costumed Pokémon

New Avatar Items

There are several new Avatar Items for players to purchase with coins from the in-game shop. The items will be available after the event as well, so no need to worry about missing out on this part of the Fashion Week celebration if you don't have enough coins to make the purchase.
