Players need to use the Resource Harvester, an upgrade unlocked at the Fabricator, to excavate the resource from the ground. Lava Dust can be pretty common in the lava-filled areas of Ember Valley, but the terrain and slimes pose a serious danger to the player, which is something to keep in mind.
