Genshin Impact added many fun and fantastic elements to its Sumeru Region. Tri-Lakshana creatures are just one example of this. They are present throughout Sumeru and mimic the Dendro element as a whole in their design. Here are all the Tri-Lakshana Creatures and how to use them as you explore.
All eight Tri-Lakshana Creatures & how to interact with them in Genshin Impact
Tri-Lakshana Creatures are unique in that they typically exist in a normal state, but they can take different forms when either Electro or Pyro are applied.
Applying Electro will put Tri-Lakshana Creatures in an Activated state. Applying Pyro will put them in a Scorched state. Applying Dendro will return them from an Activated or Scorched state to a normal state. When activated, Tri-Lakshana Creatures will emit a Truesense Pulse that can reveal hidden things, like Torch Puzzles.
Here are all the Tri-Lakshana creatures you can find and what they do in each state.
- Bouncy Mushrooms
- Normal: You can jump on top of these mushrooms to jump even higher.
- Activated: The Bouncy Mushroom will have bright green veins when Activated. Jumping on them will send you even further into the air.
- Scorched: The Bouncy Mushroom will turn brown and wither. It won't boost your jump at all.
- Dendro Piles
- Normal: These are the tree branches you can find holding a rock. They are normally found in a Scorched state with the rock resting on the ground. Applying Dendro will lift the rock to its normal state.
- Activated: The branch will lift the rock even higher.
- Scorched: The branch will return the rock to the ground.
- Dream Flowers
- Normal: Standing in its range will cause opponents to forget about you during Phantasmal Gate challenges, allowing you to sprint away.
- Activated: The Dream Flower will mark the location of the remaining Phantasmal Seeds inside a Phantasmal Gate challenge but will no longer hide you from enemies.
- Scorched: The Dream Flowers will no longer protect you from enemies.
- Fungus-type enemies
- Normal: They attack you as normal. If defeated in this state they will drop items from the Fungal Spore family.
- Activated: They will be able to attack faster. If defeated in this state they will drop items from the Inactivated Fungal Nucleus family.
- Scorched: They will attack slower, but their attacks will also become stronger. If defeated in this state they will drop items from the Inactivated Fungal Nucleus family.
- Poisonous Mushrooms
- Normal: These are the purple and pink mushrooms. If you step too close, they spray Dendro spores and cause True Damage to enemies and your active character.
- Activated: The Mushrooms will emit a continuous spore field that applies damage at regular intervals if you are in its range.
- Scorched: The mushroom will not be able to release spores.
