How to get Black and Rainbow Gems in Valkyrie Elysium

You can't expect to survive the end if you don't have powerful weapons to back you up. To do this in Valkyrie Elysium, you'll need to upgrade your armaments to level 10, which will unlock all their techniques and combos. Here's how you can find the gems you need to get the best weapon set possible.

Best Black and Rainbow Gem farming locations in Valkyrie Elysium

Upgrading your weapons to level 10 requires 200 black gems and 100 rainbow gems. Most of the time, you can only get these from enemy drops in the Volua Wetlands and the Serpent's Lair. These are areas you'll enter during chapters eight and nine, so don't stress out too much about trying to fully upgrade your weapons before you reach this stage of the game.

If you're earlier in the game and desperately need some strong weapons, you have a chance to gem farm during chapter six. Look for a white orb when you are in the southeastern area of the Romalian Territory past the ninth Storage Camp. Interact with it to unlock a subquest that will have you searching for an imprisoned soul somewhere on Midgard. Kill the enemies that appear while you explore Be'elze and reap the chest full of gems. Repeat this quest until you have as many gems as you need.
