It's time for week 5 of the Season 5 battle pass! This week we will searching for chests in Junk Junction, using Rift Portals, eliminating three opponents in a single match, dealing damage to players with clinger, stink bombs, or grenades, hitting a golf ball from a tee to a green, following a treasure map found in Snobby Shores, and then eliminating enemies in Shifty Shafts!

Struggling with Challenges?

If you are having any issues with the challenges, try heading to the 50v50 LTM. You get a lot more chance to loot areas that require chest openings without being shot. You can knock off a lot of these challenges in this mode, however, it's a bit more difficult to get location specific eliminations done. I'd try to do those in solo, duos, or squads.

Search Chests in Junk Junction (7)

Junk Junction is a pretty low population area due to its extreme distance and the fact that it doesn't have many rifts nearby. However, now that there's this challenge it's going to be pretty hectic! You can actually see quite a few chests as you fly in, so make sure to keep an eye out for them when you are heading down from the bus!

Use Rift Portals (3)

Rifts are a new addition to the game for season 5! These are great additions because you can risk landing in corner areas or places that are usually far from the circle. You can then just jump in one of these and take off for wherever you need to go! Eliminate Opponents In a Single Match (3) (HARD)

This one might be a bit difficult if you aren't a great player at the game. I always recommend heading to the 50v50 LTM if you aren't that great of a player, it gives you a lot of chance to try things out and get some kills. Deal damage to players with a Clinger, Stink Bomb, or Grenade (300)

All three of these have been used a lot more frequently these days. Clingers are really good, if someone is in a tightly built area, you can throw a couple of them at the wall they are behind. One will break the wall and the other will deal damage to them. Stink Bomb is strong for forcing people out of areas you don't want them in, and the Grenade is just a decent explosive.

Hit a golf ball from tee to green on different holes (5)

Make sure to equip one of your golf ball toys to your favorite emote wheel. Then head to Lazy Links! There's a bunch of golf tees in this area, just stand on one, use the emote and land the ball on the green!

If you aren't much of a golfer, here's a bit of help explaining what you need to do. Here's what a golf tee area looks like:

This is where you start off in golf, you hit the ball towards the green. That's the area with the flag! Here's a closer look:

These challenges are usually pretty forgiving, so if you hit it anywhere on or near the green it should count.

Follow the treasure map found in Snobby Shores (HARD)

You can find the Snobby Shore treasure map treasure location in Haunted Hills.

The exact location is at the north eastern building in the area. Here's what the map looks like in Snobby Shores that displays the location:

Eliminate opponents in Shifty Shafts (3) (HARD)

Shifty Shafts has some pretty decent loot, but it can be a weird area due to all of the levels. You have the highest portion of it, then you have a mid-tier area around that, then there's the bottom cave area. You can get shot from a of spots, so be careful when you are heading here to complete the challenge!

Hidden Battle Star for Week 5 of Season 5

Once you complete all of the challenges for the week you will be rewarded with a loading screen! This loading screen contains a clue to a hidden battle star. Week 5's loading screen is below, I've circled where the clue is in the image below.
