The MCPR-300 in Modern Warfare 2 is one of the better quick-scoping Sniper Rifles in the game. It can take down players from close to medium range with a single body shot and can be modded to do the same damage at long distances with the right attachments. The gun is the first of the snipers that players will have unlocked, but it requires leveling other weapons to make it more effective. The MCPR-300 may be the first sniper rifle that players have access to when starting off MW2, but it is by no means inferior to the other weapons.
